Spencer Pest Has A New Queen Bee!

tiara with friendHey y’all! My name’s Tiara, the sweet southern bee-lle, and I’m the new Director of Bizzneiss Development at Spencer Pest!

A little about me - I’m a fierce and fabulous southern mama who loves taking care of people, my bee babies, and the environment. I love plants and flowers, and my passion is helping my bee babies get out there and make the world a greener place!

But why would a pest control company hire a Queen bee? Don’t they kill bees? Well, some might, but not Spencer Pest. At Spencer, helping people take care of their pest issues never comes at the expense of the environment, and the team uses great new technology and eco-friendly practices to ensure the only thing they kill are harmful or nuisance pests.

I was adopted into the Spencer Pest family on January 24, 2019, and wouldn’t you know, they immediately put me in charge of bizz-ness development (see what I did there?!)! While it’s been a lot to take on, that’s okay - I’m a quick learner and a real people bee, and I’ve been making big changes around the office that have got the whole team buzzing.

Mother Earth needs mother bees! That’s why part of my mission as Queen Bee is to help educate people on why some bugs are good for the environment and help us all enjoy a better, greener world.

That’s why I’ll be taking an active role in teaching kids about good and bad bugs, hosting events at schools and other locations designed to teach kids which ones are harmful to us and which ones we need to keep our environment clean and vibrant. I love that the team at Spencer uses environmentally-friendly practices to ensure that they never harm helpful bugs and animals, and I can’t wait to spread the word to others about the importance of green pest control!

Part of my job as Director of Business Development has been to create a more enjoyable office environment both for our customers and for the team that makes Spencer work. After all, who says pest control can’t be effective and fun at the same time? And when employees and customers are both happy, everybody wins!

tiara taking time to celebrate

tiara getting marriedI’ve even had a chance to find love! I found a great guy on Bumble - the Grim Reaper himself! And as fate would have it, he happens to work for one of our favorite vendors, Corteva who provides our number one choice for termite treatment, the Sentricon system! But don’t be alarmed by his name - like me, his biggest mission in life is helping people and the environment by killing harmful bugs and other pests through one of the only green certified termite treatments.

For us, it was love at first sight - and on April 1, 2019, we took the plunge and got married! Now we’ll be together forever, united in our love for each other and the people we can help.

But while it’s already been a whirlwind few months at Spencer, there is still so much to do, and we have big plans in the future!

So as you can see, I’ve been loving my time at Spencer Pest so far, and I have big plans for the future! I look forward to seeing all of you soon!

Love,

Tiara
