TAP INSULATION
TAP stands for Thermal Acoustical Pest control insulation. Only a handful of companies in the U.S. have been approved, licensed and trained toinstall TAP, and Spencer is one of them.

It’s cruel on bugs but people friendly. Unlike conventional insulation, bugs can’t thrive in and around TAP. It combines natural cellulose insulation plus natural borate (boric acid) pesticides. Deadly to bugs, but EPA approved for people and pets.

Super efficient application. Blown onto existing attic insulation or also added to walls in new construction, it fills nooks and crannies, so warm air stays out during summer, and stays in during winter.

The green thing. TAP is environmentally responsible, made from recycled newsprint. And it’s treated to be more fire-safe than typical insulation.

Save 30% on installation. You can get up to a 30% tax rebate for installing TAP (or up to $1,500, whichever is less) on your federal tax return.  The U.S. government is honoring this rebate through 2010.
